The weathered-concrete interior gives this legacy Revillusion® firebox a quieter, architectural backdrop for the logs and flame effect. The exact RBF30WC-FG package includes its front glass and plug kit, so those finishing items should not be ordered a second time.
Revillusion® Flame Technology uses a partially frosted acrylic flame panel to create depth around the log presentation. Adjustable mood lighting and built-in touch controls let the fireplace function as an evening focal point even when heat is not needed.
Plan the framed opening from the current exact-model installation guide, not the nominal 30-inch name. Its quarter-inch self-trimming flange needs a precisely finished opening. The installer should also confirm the intended electrical configuration before the wall is completed.

| Exact model | RBF30WC-FG / 500002389 |

This listing is the legacy RBF30WC-FG, material 500002389. The newer REV generation has its own model and configuration data. Do not transfer accessory, control or installation assumptions between them solely because both have a weathered-concrete interior.
No. The exact manufacturer specification names the glass and plug kit as standard equipment in RBF30WC-FG. Check the package code when comparing listings so included components are not added again as paid accessories.
The current exact-model installation guide lists 30⅝ inches wide, 26 3/16 inches high and 12½ inches deep. Its detailed framing figure takes precedence over the older specification prose that rounds the height to 26¼ inches.
The installation guide explains that the quarter-inch self-trimming flange is intended to finish the appearance, not to cover a broadly oversized opening. Follow the exact framing figure and final surround dimensions.
Yes. The exact specification lists flame-only operation as well as flame-and-heat operation, with a 40-watt flame-only rating. The visual presentation can therefore be used independently of room heating.
The manufacturer lists 1,300 watts at 120 volts, 1,975 watts at 208 volts and 2,575 watts at 240 volts. Output depends on the installed electrical configuration; the supplied plug kit does not convert a normal outlet into a higher-voltage supply.
No combustion venting is required by the manufacturer specification. The electric firebox still needs its stated installation clearances, electrical supply and service access.
The exact specification lists RBF30TRIM38 and RBF30TRIM44. These are optional finish choices, not two required layers, and the selected trim should suit the finished opening without being mistaken for the front glass.
The exact model specification identifies built-in touch controls and a multi-function remote. Its flame panel and adjustable firebox mood lighting are part of the legacy Revillusion presentation; a phone-app feature is not established by this model’s accepted source.
The exact manufacturer specification provides a two-year limited warranty on electrical components. Keep the purchase and model records, and read the linked owner guide for service eligibility, coverage conditions and exclusions.
RATINGS & OWNER INSIGHTS

Revillusion Electric Firebox family
EXTERNAL CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
OUR PRODUCT ASSESSMENT
Revillusion is the range we would look at when the goal is a convincing traditional fireplace opening rather than a narrow ribbon of colored light. The physical logs and background choices give the room a more familiar hearth character. We like the depth of the presentation, but the opening's proportions and viewing angle still matter. Check the exact model's electrical setup and included equipment before ordering; the smaller REV24 and the larger fireboxes are not interchangeable installation plans.
Owners who like Revillusion often point to realistic flames, attractive appearance and straightforward installation. Other feedback is less enthusiastic about flame size, log proportions or operating noise. One installation account highlights the space needed behind the unit for the plug. Together, those experiences make viewing angle, framing depth and checking the supplied accessories especially useful before purchase.
The range includes conventional and portrait proportions, with different interior finishes. That makes it easier to match an existing mantel or build a traditional feature without forcing a wide linear opening into the room.
The log arrangement and flame presentation are intended to look like a fire within a firebox. Owners who enjoy the result often emphasize the realism. Choose the background and opening height together; those decisions affect the finished impression more than simply choosing the widest available unit.
REV24 uses a different electrical arrangement from the larger current REV models. Legacy RBF versions also need their own documentation. Confirm the glass, trim, remote and plug kit included with the exact unit before buying extras; otherwise it is easy to order something already supplied.
Not every owner likes the flame-to-log proportions, and some mention noise or a more modest flame than expected. Check the view from the sofa and allow space for the cord or wiring route instead of fitting the rear of the unit tightly against an obstruction.
We would prioritize Revillusion when a traditional hearth appearance is central to the project. It can justify spending more than a basic insert if the deeper visual impression is what you want to see every day. Compare the complete installed package and exact warranty coverage, including the distinction between in-home service and parts coverage in later periods.
The 4.8/5 Market Rating is based on 24 eligible customer ratings reviewed by Hearth Outpost. The star breakdown distribution shows how those customers rated the product. These are aggregated customer reviews across the market and not random sampling.
The family assessment pools sizes, fuel types, generations and colors. Equipment differs by configuration. The HOP score is a price-independent research assessment. Owner themes summarize the accessible sample.
