BrendanFounder, Hearth Outpost
For 20 years, Brendan helped build and operate major specialty retail businesses, including leadership roles at Wayfair and its family of brands: Perigold, Joss & Main, Birch Lane and AllModern. Across home furnishings, design and luxury interiors, that work focused on helping customers create homes they love—spaces that feel considered, personal and welcoming.
His experience also includes Staples Retail & Delivery and co-founding CastleGate Forwarding, a global supply-chain retail-solutions organization.
That work shaped an appreciation for everything behind a good shopping experience: a considered assortment, useful product information and attention to the details that connect a choice with the customer who makes it.
Owning and operating a portfolio of high-end luxury vacation properties adds a more personal perspective. A beautiful space needs to feel welcoming and work for the people spending time in it—from preparing a meal to gathering around the fire.
