Draw the people before the product
Mark the chairs or sofa at their actual sizes. Add the route from the house and the places people stand before sitting down. Then compare a round footprint with a linear footprint inside that arrangement.
A round form can suit chairs arranged around a shared center. A linear form can relate naturally to a sofa or opposing seating. These are layout starting points, not clearance rules: the exact appliance manual must be checked before a footprint becomes a specification.
Compare everyday use

Use removable paper shapes on a plan to test arrangements. Do not assume the whole tabletop is a serving surface or that a burner cover makes an appliance suitable for a different use. Verify the model’s instructions and accessory permissions.
Resolve the installation before the finish
Record the intended setting, nearby structures, overhead conditions, fuel supply and access route. Ask the installer to confirm the exact model’s permitted location, required clearances and fuel requirements. Ask your installer to check the setting before you order.

Make the shortlist comparable
