Choose the BF connection after confirming the voltage.

BFPLUGE is the 120-volt plug kit listed for documented BF33, BF39 and BF45 fireboxes. The exact BF39STP architectural sheet describes a seven-foot cord; that total length is not the same as guaranteed usable reach after routing inside the appliance.
The BF installation guide states that the unit is factory-configured for 208/240-volt operation and describes conversion for 120 volts. The installer must confirm the correct arrangement before using the plug accessory; it is not a voltage converter for an unchanged high-voltage appliance.
Check the exact firebox package and existing connection before ordering another kit. The accessory supplies a connection option rather than upgrading the appliance’s heat output or making every BF control arrangement interchangeable.
The right pieces, clearly accounted for.

Let’s get your project right.
Can I plug in a BF firebox that is still configured for 208/240 volts?
No. The installation guide states that the appliance is factory-configured for 208/240 volts and describes a different 120-volt configuration. Have the installer confirm that the appliance and supply are correctly configured before using BFPLUGE. The kit is not a voltage converter.
Does the seven-foot cord mean my outlet can be seven feet from the fireplace?
The exact specification describes a seven-foot cord, but routing and connection inside the appliance use part of its length. Plan the receptacle location using the installation instructions and actual cord route rather than assuming the entire stated length is available outside the firebox. Do not solve an unsuitable route with an extension cord.
Does the accessory change the fireplace’s heat output?
The kit provides the documented connection option. Its listing does not upgrade the heater, establish a new voltage setting or change the appliance’s published output. Use the fireplace’s electrical rating and the instructions for the chosen connection.
Can I use an extension cord or power strip?
Plan a suitable direct wall-receptacle connection and the route described in the appliance and kit instructions. Do not use an extension cord or power strip as a workaround for the fireplace’s required connection or an inaccessible outlet.
Is this automatically missing equipment on every new fireplace?
No. Check the selected appliance’s included-items list and intended hardwired or plug-in arrangement. Some models already include a cord, and other installations use hardwiring. An optional-kit listing is not evidence that the fireplace is incomplete.
Can I choose this just because another kit looks similar?
Match BFPLUGE to the exact appliance guide and installation. The documented application is BF33 / BF39 / BF45 documented fireboxes. A similar connector, a shared brand name or a similar fireplace width does not establish that another kit is equivalent.
Does one retail kit establish the quantity for a multi-fireplace project?
One retail kit identifies the item being purchased. It does not establish how many kits a linked, multi-cassette or multi-fireplace installation requires. Confirm the complete system arrangement and required connection points before setting the order quantity.
What should I decide before finishing the fireplace enclosure?
Choose the supply, connection method, receptacle location and service access with the installer before the enclosure is closed. Preserve the fireplace’s ventilation, glazing and maintenance access; a plug kit does not replace those requirements.
Where do I find the installation instructions?
Use the instructions supplied with the accessory together with the exact appliance guide. The documents linked here identify the relevant system or family and are labeled accordingly. Follow the accessory-specific instructions when fitting the kit; a product overview is not a substitute for the installation sequence.
What details should I keep for fit and support?
Keep BFPLUGE, its ordering number and UPC, the complete appliance model and the purchase record together. Record the intended voltage and power connection as well. A separate kit does not automatically inherit the appliance’s warranty period.
CONFIDENCE BEYOND THE FIRST FIRE
The right fit. The right support.
Keep the kit code, appliance model and purchase record together for fit and accessory support. Use the linked system resources alongside the instructions supplied with the kit; do not assume that a separate accessory inherits an appliance warranty period.
