Keep utensils, grilling tools and cooking accessories together at the cooking station. The central 304 stainless steel cabinet provides four drawers, so the items you use most have a place close to the grill.

Use the additional drawer for smaller tools and the lower cabinet for serving and cooking supplies. This is included island storage; it does not need to be added as a separate accessory.

The side burner sits on its own stainless steel cabinet beside the main grill. The propane configuration includes a tank holder below it; natural gas connects to your installed supply. Select the factory fuel version for your home.

The included granite countertop gives you a work surface beside the grill for ingredients, trays and serving. The assembled island is 86.5 inches wide, 31.5 inches deep and 50 inches high. Plan lid-opening and service clearances separately.

The 500-sq.-in. and 250-sq.-in. ovens have separate lids and heat controls. Cook dishes at different temperatures without putting everything in the same cookbox.

Heavy cast stainless steel grids hold heat for searing. The Flav-R-Wave system beneath them vaporizes cooking juices while shielding the main burners.

A 15,000-BTU rear burner and the supplied rotisserie kit give you another way to cook poultry and roasts. The side burner lets you prepare sides while keeping the main grids available.

Built-in cookbox lights help you see the food, and illuminated control knobs make the cooking station easier to use after sunset.

OUR PRODUCT ASSESSMENT
Imperial is the Broil King range we would look at for a more complete outdoor cooking setup. Cast-stainless cooking grids, substantial burners and available rotisserie equipment give it a strong foundation, while the larger dual-oven versions let you run different cooks side by side. The island packages add a coordinated work area, and QS models bring iQue controls. Those choices should earn their place in your kitchen. Decide how much grill you will use, then plan access, power and maintenance around the exact configuration.
Owners particularly appreciate the freedom of separate ovens on the larger Imperial models, whether that means cooking different foods or using only the smaller side for dinner. Even heat and rotisserie results also stand out in their accounts. There are practical reservations: one owner needed thermometer attention, another discussed lighting repairs, and another noticed uneven heat with time. These experiences point to a capable cooking platform whose supporting components still deserve a careful setup and a clear service plan.
The dual-oven configurations let you separate cooking tasks instead of committing the entire grill to one temperature. That is useful when a roast needs gentler cooking while another dish needs direct heat. This advantage belongs to the dual-oven models, not every Imperial in the family.
Cast-stainless grids and the burner system are the reasons to consider Imperial before the decorative details. Equipped models add a rear burner and rotisserie for another cooking method. Check what comes with the chosen built-in head, because an island image may show equipment sold as part of a larger package.
The island versions combine the grill with storage and a countertop. That can simplify the visual and practical planning of a cooking area. QS versions add connected control; conventional S configurations remain an option if you prefer a familiar routine without that additional layer.
Measure the grill, lid movement, work surfaces and service access together. Island and built-in configurations need different planning. Confirm fuel and electrical connections before delivery, and make sure the route into the yard can accommodate the package you choose.
Clean the cooking system and grease areas, and check the care instructions for the grids and exterior finish. Lighting, temperature instruments and connected controls add useful functions but also serviceable components. Keep their coverage distinct from the main grill structure when comparing warranties.
Imperial is easiest to justify when you will use the additional cooking capability or the coordinated island regularly. A smaller built-in may be a better purchase than the largest dual-oven island if most meals are for two. Compare the cooking features, cabinet contents and installation total rather than judging value by the number of burners alone.
