A TrueFlame hood can help make a covered cooking area more comfortable, but the installation is what makes the purchase work. Adjustable extraction, lighting and removable grease baffles are practical features we would look for above an outdoor grill. Start with the grill width, mounting position and duct route rather than choosing by hood appearance alone. Have the installer confirm the complete arrangement before ordering covers or spacers, and keep the baffles easy to reach for regular cleaning.
